No more stories Are told today... is the fifth studio album by the Danish band Mew, originally released in 2009. Produced by Rich Costey, who also produced their breakthrough album Frengers, it’s the band's first album as an official three-piece after bass player Johan Wohlert left to spend time with his family.
According to lead vocalist Jonas Bjerre, this album is happier, "dancier", and more upbeat than its predecessor, And the Glass Handed Kites, which had a darker theme. This vinyl edition of the album also contains the bonus track “Nervous”. No More Stories... was met with universal acclaim upon release. The album was extremely well received in the band's native Denmark upon release, getting top scores in reviews from most music magazines.
No more stories Are told today... is available on black vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet with lyrics.

Now this is an interessting, pressing! How MOV did it I don't know, but this pressing is one of the, if not the most dynamic 33 rpm record that I own. The bass is so incredibly deep, but tight AF. The sibilance of the vocals is as sharp as a knife (in a good sense), but that also creates one problem. My 'regular' (AT33EV) cartridge can't properly track the vocals, so I had to switch to my other deck with a ATOC9XSL to get the amazing results I'm talking about here.
I bought this record because of the first review on the purple version of MOV and can understand why this person stated that this is one of his best sounding records in hier 2500+ collection.
Just before I played this record for the first time, I just listened to the One-Step of Off The Wall, and the bass and treble are very comparable, which I think is astonishing at this price.

Fantastic company. Despite shipping from NL to the UK the record arrived in pristine condition. Shame local UK companies cannot adhere to such a high standard of quality control! I will definitely be using these guys again. As for the record - outstanding quality with exceptional sound. One of the best sounding records in my collection.
