DESCRIPTION

In February 2017, Midnight Oil announced The Great Circle World Tour from the Sydney Harbour. The tour was the band's first in over 15 years, commenced in Sydney, travelled to 16 countries, completed 76 performances in six months and concluded at The Domain in November 2017.

The performance of their final show at the Domain was recorded and now available on 3 LPs. They performed both their gigantic solo hits, such as “Beds Are Burning” and "Blue Sky Mine", as fan favourites like “Read About It” and “Only the Strong”. It’s a fantastic live experience full of energy and with much attention to their often political subjects.

Armistice Day: Live At The Domain, Sydney showcases Midnight Oil at their absolute finest. The package includes an extensive 12-page booklet.

Great re-issue! The first batch of the series (of 5 batches of 3!) Has just arrived and had their first spin. Great sound, silent and flat vinyl. Just the way I have come to expect from Music On Vinyl. Let the next batch come!

Does justice to the original

Although the sound of this pressing is not spectacular, it is very good! A discogs review claimed that this pressing "taps you on the shoulders and slaps you in the face" but I wouldn't go so far as to say that it does. But I would say that this pressing sounds fresh and more modern thanks to the better low-end this MOV reissue offers.

It's a very dynamic record with lots of detail and it truly is a great reissue. I did notice a remarkable sonic difference on 'Radio Silence', very detailed and modern sound.

The vinyl labels are a great touch and the printing quality of the sleeve and insert are better than the original.

Received my box set today #0013 very pleased, I knew MOV would do these records justice was surprised to see Found All The Parts as a 12” vs the original 10 I only got through In Color but plan on diving into rest all week as time allows. I know as Cheap Trick fans we all have these but do yourself a favor and get this.
