Solid Ball of Rock is the tenth studio album by legendary heavy metal band Saxon and was originally released in 1991. Five of its eleven tracks were written by new bassist Nibbs Carter, who co-wrote another three songs.
The addition of young bassist Nibbs Carter seemed to inject new life into the group, which unleashed some of its most aggressive songs in years, including the full-on thrashing "Altar of the Gods" and positively scorching "Baptism of Fire."
"For our audience – and without an audience there is no band – our focus returned on Solid Ball of Rock…" noted singer Biff Byford. "Since then, we've been right on it."
Solid Ball of Rock is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on silver vinyl and includes an insert.

I bought the record Vulture Culture of APP through Discogs, coming by Music on Vinyl that was in perfect Mint condition, but the barcodes on both sides of the record are missing.
Can you explane that to me and how do I know if this is a legal version?

This pressing of Reaching For The Sky exceeded all my expectations. This is a pretty solid album if it wasn't for the horrible tune 'Come Closer', which sounds like the band had a creative breakdown, Come Closer is the definition of a filler song 😂
MOV made a perfect balance in sound, the vocals sound very forward and the bass is absolutely outstanding, giving the record a solid foundation. The high frequencies are sparkling which make the record sound fresh.
Again I didn't expect this mediocre (but good) album to sound this good, it truly makes the whole thing worth having and listening, MOV seem to have stepped up their game lately. Ofcourse it all depends on the source material, but MOV have pulled maximum detail and musicality out of Renée's album.
This truly is a audiophile record and make the band sound even more like Heart, Dire Straits, Golden Earring, Solution and many more great bands. The only downside is that the records arrived slightly off centre.

Music is one of the core narrative pillars of The Black Rabbit. Judd and Jason build a sonic identity rooted in rock, soul and nocturnal groove, with a very distinctive character. On vinyl it reaches another level: more organic, raw and cinematic. Premium packaging, careful finishes and the clear feeling of a release made to last — and to be collected.
A release fully worthy of the series: mature, dark and full of attitude. If you care about music with soul and properly produced vinyl, this one is essential. Music On Vinyl delivers once again at the highest level.
