It was the start of an impressive career, releasing one prog classic after another. In celebration of the upcoming MOV release of their debut studio album When Dream and Day Unite we are giving away this super prize!
Music On Vinyl met the band members in 2017 when they were celebrating the 25th anniversary of their milestone album, Images & Words. We asked them, on behalf of our vinyl fanbase, to sign one package for a grand prize. "Of course!" they shouted, and signed the 10 fantastic monster albums which we are so proud of to have released over the past years. We won't keep them for ourselves. Live at the Marquee(1993) is Dream Theater's live album recorded at the famous London's Marquee Club. It features songs from When Dream and Day Unite and Images and Words.The vinyl edition of Live at the Marquee matches the complete track listing of the original CD release in 1993 and therefore also includes "Surrounded".
The first official live album of Dream Theater, Once In A LIVEtime, was released to great critical acclaim in 1998 after recording an intense live show in Paris earlier that year. Their musical skills guarantee a legendary performance, at times resembling Yes' or Emerson, Lake & Palmer's prog prowess.
Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory is the fifth studio album by American progressive Metal/Rock band Dream Theater. Originally released in 1999, it was recorded at BearTracks Studios in New York, where the band had previously recorded their second studio album Images And Words [MOVLP780] and the EP A Change of Seasons.
Falling Into Infinity was released in 1997 and marked a shift to a more accessible mainstream direction for Dream Theater. The album includes the singles "Hollow Years","You Not Me" and "Burning My Soul".To complete the epic package, the sleeve art bears a mysterious, instantly recognizable Storm Thorgersson design.
