Modern Talking, John Mayall, Christine Perfect, Willie Nelson and Herman Brood
Our apologies if that subject line scared you. But we do hope we caught your attention, as we just can't wait to release five more titles on limited edition coloured vinyl today. It includes a bunch of blues rock, a country legend and our favourite German pop duo...
Of course that duo has to be Modern Talking. Today is the release date of their sixth album In the Garden of Venus, on limited edition smoke coloured vinyl. Only 2500 copies are available, so hurry up and make sure this synthpop classic, including the single “In 100 Years”, becomes part of your record collection soon.
There's never not a right time to listen to Willie Nelson. Especially To All the Girls..., which features only duets with renowned female musicians like Dolly Parton, Rosanne Cash, Carrie Underwood, Norah Jones and Emmylou Harris. This limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on crystal clear vinyl includes an insert.
We're releasing John Mayall's Wake Up Call on limited edition translucent blue vinyl. The album features special guest appearances by the likes of Buddy Guy, Mavis Staples and Mick Taylor. Only 1000 copies of this blues classic are available. The package also contains an insert.
Christine Perfect, later known as Christine McVie, released her eponymous debut solo album in 1970, just before she would join Fleetwood Mac. Today we're releasing Christine Perfect as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on snow-white (crystal clear & solid white mixed) coloured vinyl.
Can't wait for Saturday Night (pun intended)? Make sure you order Dutch blues rock legend Herman Brood's greatest hits compilation My Way: The Hits. This 20th anniversary edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on blue, black & white swirled vinyl contains all his biggest hits, including “Saturday Night”, “Never Be Clever”, “Als Je Wint”, “Sleepin' Bird” and many more.
My Way: The Hits is a posthumous compilation album with music by Dutch rock and roll and blues artist Herman Brood, released shortly after his suicide on 11 July 2001.
This compilation includes all his biggest hits: “Saturday Night”, “Never Be Clever”, “Als Je Wint”, “Sleepin' Bird” and many more.
Wake Up Call is an album by British bluesman John Mayall, also commonly referred to as John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers (Coco Montoya, Joe Yuele and Rick Cortes), released in 1993. The album features a number of prominent guest appearances by the likes of Buddy Guy, Mick Taylor, Mavis Staples, Tony Joe White and more.
Christine Perfect, later known as Christine McVie, released her eponymous debut solo album in 1970. It was released just after she had left her band Chicken Shack and just before she would become of the three lead vocalists and the keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac.
In the Garden of Venus is the sixth studio album by German synthpop duo Modern Talking. It was their last album to be released before they split up in 1987 (and reunited in 1998). Although it's one of their lesser-known albums, it was widely embraced by fans.
The album consists of only duets, and as the title suggests, all songs are performed with female artists. Some of his duet partners include Dolly Parton, with whom he sang the lead single “From Here to the Moon and Back”, as well as Miranda Lambert, Rosanne Cash, Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn, Mavis Staples, Norah Jones and Emmylou Harris.
