We're really proud of the 2 beautiful triple lp sets of the man in black, Mr. Johnny Cash!
A few years ago, Columbia/Legacy released a number of recordings that had been found amongst Johnny Cash's most private and valuable possessions.
Now revived on vinyl as Bootleg Volume 1, this release contains the intimate sessions of a man and his guitar; a lesson in storytelling by Johnny Cash.
For Bootleg Volume 2 producer Greg Geller focuses on Cash's early Sun years (1954 to 1957) and his Columbia years from 1958 to 1969. This collection puts Cash's music in a historical perspective.
Both triple lp sets come with printed inner sleeves and comprehensive booklets, containing rare photos, artwork & liner notes.
Jimi Hendrix 'South Saturn Delta' is stunning collection of 15 recordings and offers a unique insight into the creative process that Jimi Hendrix undertook while crafting many of his most beloved recordings. This release comes with an interesting 8 page booklet with extensive linernotes, packed in a special gatefold-sleeve with silver-foil stamp.
Chet Baker With Strings was recorded during three sessions in 1953 with Zoot Sims & Jack Montrose on tenor sax, Russ Freeman on piano, Shelly Manne on drums and Clifford 'Bud' Shank on alto sax.
This fully instrumental album is a classic, and now available on vinyl for the first time since its original release in 1953!
Bob Dylan - Live at Brandeis University 1963. The original tape of this concert was discovered recently in the archives of the noted music writer and Rolling Stone co-founder Ralph J. Gleason. The recording of the Dylan show at Brandeis University in 1963 captures the wit, deadpan delivery and driving intensity of the young artist's on-stage persona in an assortment of end-of-the-world songs.
Added to the vinyl package is a coupon with a download code for the MP3 version of the album.
Ed Kowalczyk, best known as the lead singer/frontman/guitarist of the band LIVE, delivers his solo debut album "Alive". We've been so lucky to add 2 exclusive bonustracks to this vinyl edition on a separate 7".
Collectors beware! The first 750 copies are limited editions. The LP's will be printed on 180 grams solid silver and black mixed vinyl and the exclusive 7" is printed on crystal clear vinyl.
Archetypal prog-rockers Yes formed in London in the late 1960s and gained vast popularity in the 1970s.
'House of Yes: Live from House of Blues' is a triple live album - recorded on Halloween Night in 1999 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. It features four core members of Yes: Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White.
Though commercially speaking the British folk band Trees weren't a great success in the short three years before the group disbanded in 1972, over the years they have received more and more recognition. Folk-Rock at its best with a sharp psychedelic edge!
Music On Vinyl already released the first three studio albums of Emerson, Lake & Palmer; 'ELP', 'Tarkus' and 'Trilogy' as well as their first live-album 'Pictures At An Exhibition'.
Now it's time for their fourth studio album 'Brain Salad Surgery' (1973) and their second live album 'Welcome Back, My Friends, to the Show That Never Ends...'(1974). 'Brain Salad Surgery' will come in a beautiful sleeve designed by the famous H.R. Giger, incl. Poster. 'Welcome Back...' will be released as a three-disk vinyl album in a triple gatefold cover, the inside of which uses the letters 'E', 'L' and 'P' as retainers for the individual disks. Both releases are limited to 1000 copies!
