Moloko, Within Temptation, Billy Talent, Symarip and Ramses Shaffy
Statues is the fourth and final studio album by English-Irish electronic music duo Moloko. This fresh album charted all over Europe, and eventually went on to become their most popular record. The release is available as a limited edition of 3000 numbered copies on solid blue & white mixed vinyl and the package includes an insert. Within Temptation's concept album The Unforgiving is definitely one of the band's best and most versatile albums. Besides Sharon Den Adel's impressive vocal work the music consists of memorable guitar riffs, backed by a mix of symphonic and electronic keyboards. This release is available as a limited edition of 5000 individually numbered copies on gold & red swirled vinyl. The package includes an exclusive print and comic-booklet with lyrics and images. The Canadian rock/punk band Billy Talent existed for almost a decade (under the name Pezz) before they reached mainstream success by releasing their self-titled debut album. This pretty angry record was a very unique album during the time of release and the album was nominated for Best Rock Album at 2004 Juno Awards. Billy Talent is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on transparent vinyl and the package includes an insert.
Symarip were a ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom, originated in the late 1960s, widely marked as one of the first skinhead reggae bands. The one album they recorded under this synonym, Skinhead Moonstomp, includes their hits "Skinhead Girl", "Skinhead Jamboree", and "Skinhead Moonstomp". This title is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on orange vinyl. Ramses Shaffy was one of the best known Dutch chansonniers. The 2LP compilation album Laat Me brings together all the beautiful music of Ramses, featuring songs like “Laat me”, “Sammy”, “Zing, vecht, huil, bid, lach, werk en bewonder” and “Pastorale". The release is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl.
Symarip recorded only one studio album; Skinhead Moonstomp. An instant classic and it includes fan favorites like "Skinhead Girl", "Skinhead Jamboree", and "Skinhead Moonstomp". Singer and trombone player Roy Ellis was the man behind many of their classics. This is the ultimate party album, with an excellent mixture of ska, reggae, and soul music.
