Mindless Self Indulgence, The Delfonics, The Wannadies and the soundtracks The Prodigy, Natural Born Killers and Once
Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy is the second album by the electro-punk band Mindless Self Indulgence. The album contains 30 songs which are ranked by their titles, including some fascinating ones like “Dicks Are For My Friends”, “Holy Shit” and “Royally Fucked”. The album is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on green colored vinyl. The Delfonics are an R&B/soul trio originally consisting of brothers William & Wilbert Hart, and Randy Cain, who became famous with their high-pitched, male vocal harmonies typical of the Philly Soul sound. One of their most iconic hits was "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)", the only Delfonics song which reached the top 100 on the Billboard 200 charts. Besides “Didn't I” their self-titled record brought them four hit singles (US Pop and R&B charts) during the two years after its release. The Wannadies fourth album Bagsy Me includes the band's hit, also called “Hit”. The song peaked at number twenty in the UK charts. The album continues where Be a Girl left off and adds an extra amount of punk-pop to the music. This release is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on turquoise vinyl. The package includes a 4-page booklet with pictures and lyrics.
The 2019 released horror film The Prodigy centers on a mother who is concerned about her young son's disturbing behavior. The music for the movie is composed by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Annabelle). The haunting soundtrack is an excellent composition of dark orchestral music, reminiscent of classic 1970's horror soundtracks. The Prodigy is available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on black & white marbled vinyl and the package contains an exclusive movie poster. Produced by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, the soundtrack to the film Natural Born Killers (1994) was a downright smash in youngster's music tastes of the era. The 25th-anniversary limited edition is available as 2000 individually numbered copies on “Mickey Knox' Mind” green vinyl. Once is a 2006 Irish musical film, which contains original songs composed and performed by Glen Hansard (singer of popular rock band The Frames) and Markéta Irglová. This release is available as a limited edition of 3000 individually numbered copies on transparent vinyl.
