Lion puts a mark on this year's top films of 2017. The movie has won 2 Baftas (Adapted Screenplay & Supporting Actor) and is nominated for six Oscars, including a nomination for the category Original Score.

The score is composed by avant-garde pianist Hauschka and Dustin O'Halloran, who forms half of the ambient music collaboration A Winged Victory for the Sullen. The creation is the perfect recipe of ambient and avant-garde piano, of what has become a minimalist dream.

It sets a dreamy mood right from the beginning and presents a unique style by the composer with a light and chiming theme 'The Starship Avalon' giving the impression of floating through space.

The adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

The score is composed by Grammy, Golden Globe, BAFTA, Academy Award Winner James Newton Howard (Dark Knight, Hunger Games series, I Am Legend, Batman Begins).

The composer who has written over 100 scores and been nominated for 8 Academy Awards in his career explains how he works the magic.

"One thing you can expect in any J.K. Rowling story is that there's going to be a lot of excitement and action so the basic idea is you've got to be able to write a good action sequence. I approached it very, very seriously. I just wrote it like I would write any human drama but I tried to give it a distinct sound. Because it is magical, after all".

Steven Price, who received an Academy Award in 2013 for his score of the classic movie "Gravity", composed the score for Suicide Squad.

"David's film invited me to find a way to bring all of these incredible misfit outsiders together as a united force, with a thematic score that goes from moments of quiet emotion to huge action sequences," explains Price. "The character's themes interact and develop as the film progresses, and we witness the birth of the Suicide Squad. The score was a huge challenge, but a fantastic amount of fun to write!"

Florence Foster Jenkins
tells the inspirational true story of a New York heiress, Florence, who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great singer. The voice she heard in her head was divine, but to the rest of the world it was hilariously awful. At private recitals, her devoted husband and manager, St Clair Bayfield, managed to protect Florence from the truth. But when Florence decided to give her first public concert at New York's Carnegie Hall, St Clair realized he had perhaps bitten off more than he could chew.

All available recordings by Florence Foster Jenkins are restored and pressed on this album. Thanks to these recordings, we can still enjoy the glory of a voice that, in a very peculiar way, has enriched the lives of many generations of music-lovers.
