Soulfly, Son House, Fairground Attraction, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, Vendetta and the soundtrack Adrift

Go and Live...Kiss and Fly

The American metal band Soulfly is led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera. Their fourth album Prophecy consist of introspective songs and sounds like a fusion between metal, dub and tribal. Prophecy is available on vinyl for the first time as a limited edition of 2.000 individually numbered copies on coloured (gold & black mixed) vinyl. The package includes a 12-page booklet. Son House was one of the most influential delta blues singers and was famous for his emotional style of singing and slide guitar playing. During the 60s folk revival Father of Folk Blues introduced him to the public. Nine gems of tracks all telling the story of a hardworking man and the intrigues of life. The First of a Million Kisses is the debut album by the British folk and soft rock band Fairground Attraction. The album and the number 1 single "Perfect" both won best album and single respectively at the 1989 Brit Awards. The album is available as a limited 30th Anniversary edition of 1.000 individually numbered copies on coloured (pink & black mixed) vinyl.

A little bit more experimental with the bizarre psychedelic rock music from The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. Their second album Part One features a diversity of compositions by, among others, Frank Zappa and P.F. Sloan. It's all recorded during the period where psychedelic music blended with a lot of other genres. Trash metal enthusiasts will get their kick with the debut album Go and Live... Stay and Die by the German trash metal band Vendetta. Guitars, drums and vocals are dominant on the album and together showing the quality and aggressiveness of their sound. The album is available as a first pressing of 500 individually numbered copies on red vinyl. Academy Award-nominated composer Hauschka created the original score to Adrift. The film's soundtrack includes his original score and a cover of Tom Waits' "I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You" by Emilíana Torrini. Adrift is available as a pressing of 750 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl.
