NEW RELEASES WEEK 29

Extreme, Regina Carter, Atomic Rooster, Trifle, La Scorta and King Arthur

Riding on the success of "More Than Words", Extreme II - Pornograffitti became the breakthrough-album for the Bostonian rockers Extreme. Combining Glam with Pop, the band carved out a nice niche for themselves. This exclusive limited edition of the album will be pressed on orange vinyl and includes numbered sleeves.

Violinist Regina Carter celebrates the 100th birthday of Ella Fitzgerald. On her new album, Ella: Accentuate the Positive, the virtuoso violinist reveals the many aspects of Fitzgerald that have influenced her own remarkable path in music.

Death Walks Behind You is the second studio album by British Rock band Atomic Rooster. It is, critically and commercially, their most successful album and often hailed as a classic of the progressive Rock genre. It also produced the hit single "Tomorrow Night", which became one of the band's best-known songs. A nice reissue is out now!

Next up is the album First Meeting from the short-lived British Jazz-Rock septet Trifle. The brass arrangements are excellent and the mostly original material is definitely up to the standard. This forgotten gem should have been listened to over the years, as it is another Brass-Rock classic!

Our first At The Movies release is from the film La Scorta (The Escort), which is a 1993 Italian crime film directed by Ricky Tognazzi. The film was an entry at the 1993 Cannes Film Festival and was a huge success in Italy, winning several David di Donatello awards. This first time on vinyl soundtrack release is available in the Ennio Morricone Classic Soundtrack series and is now available to strictly 1.000 numbered copies on transparent vinyl.

The second release is the brand new fantasy film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie. The score is written and produced by Daniel Pemberton, an English Ivor Novello Award-winning, Golden Globe Award and multi BAFTA Award-nominated composer. The soundtrack features Sam Lee. The first pressing of 1000 numbered copies is available on gold vinyl!

Have a great weekend,
