Vision of Disorder, Zita Swoon and the soundtracks from Tomb Raider, How to Talk to Girls at Parties and Game of Thrones seasons 4, 5 and 6.
Life = Full of visions, games and girls
It's a week full of smashing and fascinating soundtracks from composers like Ramin Djawadi and Tom Holkenborg, but also set your mind for the trashy riffs by
Vision of Disorder and the beautiful crafted songs from
Zita Swoon.
We're starting this week with
Vision of Disorder, which recorded some hardcore punk albums before switchting to the alternative metal. In The New Wave of American Heavy Metal they recorded one of their best albums. Their second release
Imprint includes trashy riffs and melodic parts, as well as both clean singing and screaming by vocalist Tim Williams. Tracks like "Colorblind" and "By the River" are both brutal as beautiful. The album is available as a limited edition of 1.000 individually numbered copies on yellow, solid red & black mixed vinyl.
The Belgian rock band
Zita Swoon gained a lot of fans when they released their third album
Life = a Sexy Sanctuary. It's an album full of beautiful crafted songs by lead singer Stef Kamil Carlens, from the disco tune "The Bananaqueen" to the emotional "Moving through life as prey". Even after 20 years
Zita Swoon can still be seen as one of the strongest export products from the Belgium music scene.
Life = a Sexy Sanctuary is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on white vinyl.
The score of the new
Tomb Raider movie is composed by Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL. In recent years Tom has become one of the most talented and influential composers around the globe. He took the challenge to compose this soundtrack and he brought the world and character of Lara Croft to life. The vinyl package of Tomb Raider contains an exclusive film-poster, and the 180 gram records are housed in 2 exclusive printed innersleeves. The first pressing of 1.500 individually numbered copies is pressed on transparent vinyl mixed with red vinyl.
How to Talk to Girls at Parties is a brand new British-American sci-fi movie. The soundtrack is filled with punk-driven orientated tracks by The Damned, The Velvet Underground, Xiu Xiu, The Dyschords, AC Newman and many more. The vinyl package contains an exclusive 4-page booklet and the 500 individually numbered copies are pressed on yellow vinyl.
To support the
Game Of Thrones Live Concert Experience 2018 tour which features composer Ramin Djawadi we're releasing three special editions of the soundtrack from seasons
4,
5 and
6. The opening theme is practically iconic at this point, having been played and covered so many times. Composer Ramin Djawadi's heavy, atmospheric tunes have always helped set the mood, no matter what tone the show is going for at any given time. Each season got his own special compositions. Season 4 features the single "The Rains Of Castamere" by Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós and season 6 includes 7 bonus tracks. The Limited tour editions of 2.500 individually numbered copies are available on different coloured vinyl: Season 4 on transparent vinyl, Season 5 on transparent blue vinyl and Season 6 on solid red vinyl.
