Fans of Americana must have a listen to Ilse DeLange. This year, the Dutch artist won the prestigious Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award for the second time. To celebrate her large body of work, the 3LP collection The Singles Collection 1998 - 2023 with all her hits is now in stores, including "I'm Not So Tough", "Miracle", and "So Incredible".
As part of '50 Years of Hip Hop', our new additions include Whodini Back In Black and Ultramagnetic MC's Funk Your Head Up. the latter was previously only available as a 1LP, but now comes as a 2LP-set for the very first time. We're also going back in time to a great source of inspiration for Hip Hop: Motown Records. Mary Wells helped to define the sound of the Motown label in the early Sixties. Her 1966 album The Two Sides Of Mary Wells features her interpretations of classic tracks such as "Satisfaction" and "The Boy From Ipanema" amongst others.

Gilberto With Turrentine is an album by Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer Astrud Gilberto and American saxophonist Stanley Turrentine. It features performances recorded in 1971, originally released at CTI Records by Creed Taylor. The album can be described as a blend of jazz, pop, and tropicalia. It was arranged by Eumir Deodato and features appearances by A-list jazz performers including Airto Moreira, Ron Carter, Sam Brown, Hubert Laws, and Toots Thielemans.
God & Guns is the 13th studio album by the southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd. It features the singles "Still Unbroken" and "Simple Life". "Still Unbroken" was written after the death of original bassist Leon Wilkeson in 2001. It was also the theme song of WWE's Breaking Point PPV event and is featured on WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010. "God & Guns" was the last Lynyrd Skynyrd album to feature the band's longtime keyboardist Billy Powell, who died in January 2009. Ean Evans, who had replaced Leon Wilkeson on bass, also passed away before this album came out.

Breakthrough in 1998 with debut album, World Of Hurt, followed by numerous successful albums and 24 Top 40 singles. She also achieved international success with The Common Linnets and Eurovision single "Calm After The Storm," featured on this compilation.
The Two Sides Of Mary Wells is the seventh studio album by soul singer Mary Wells, released in 1966. Wells' career had drastically changed from just six years before when the then-teenage Wells first recorded songs for Motown. This album mixed traditional pop with more earthier and uptown soul songs. Wells released a modest hit with the Motown-esque "Dear Lover", which hit the top ten of the R&B charts.
Ultramagnetic Mc's is composed of TR 'Funky' Luv, Dj Moe Luv on the one and two's, Kool Keith, producer Ced Gee and occasionally Tim Dog. Their second studio album Funk your Head Up was released in 1992, representing the foundation of Hip-Hop.
