Killing Zoe is a 1994 crime / bank heist film written, directed and produced by Roger Avary and co-produced by Quentin Tarantino. The score to Killing Zoe was produced by Tomandandy, aka Thomas Hajdu and Andy Milburn. This duo is best known for their horror scores like The Hills Have Eyes and The Strangers amongst others and many collaborations with great artists such as Lou Reed, David Byrne, U2 and Laurie Anderson.
“Abuse Me” is the second single from Silverchair's album, Freak Show. Abuse Me is available as an 12” EP for the first time and features a cover version of “Undecided” (not to be confused with “Undecided” from Frogstomp), originally by the Australian band Master Apprentices, on the B-side. A remix of “Freak”, produced by Paul Mac, is also featured on the B-side.
It Follows features a stunning, electronic-driven score, heavy with pulsating synths and dread in equal measure. It was composed by the renowned musician Disasterpeace. This electro, 80s influenced score is a character in itself in the movie, and will haunt the listener long after the film has stopped rolling.
Hania Rani is a Polish pianist, composer and singer. She employs a delicate, vulnerable, and minimalist playing style with modern recording techniques to evoke themes of self, home, and landscape. Her score for Venice - Infinitely Avantgarde is a fruit of Rani's city walks through Venice and discovering its museums, narrow streets, and landmarks. The documentary, directed by Michele Mally, follows a tour through the city and takes in masterpieces by Tiepolo, Canaletto, Rosalba Carriera.
“Cemetery” is the third single from Silverchair's 1997 album Freak Show. “Cemetery” was originally composed by frontman Daniel Johns as a solo acoustic piece while still living at home. Originally, Johns had no intention of including it on a Silverchair album.
Alleen Met Jou is het tiende studio album van André Hazes dat oorspronkelijk uitgebracht werd in 1985 en bereikte #3 in de Nederlandse album Top 100. Het album bevat, naast eigen nummers, een handvol mooie covers.
Around 1992, the unplugged sessions on MTV were a trend; almost every rock band or artist was doing them. Bass player Rinus Gerritsen suggested to record an acoustic album themselves. The record company wasn't very enthusiastic at first so with a small budget the band recorded the album live in an intimate cafe in Amsterdam. The Naked Truth turned out to be the Golden Earring's bestselling album.
Freak Show is the second studio album by Australian alternative rock band Silverchair, which was originally released in 1996. The album was well received, appeared in many charts all over the world and received a nomination for the 1997 ARIA Music Award for Best Group. This 14-track set included four singles, “Freak”, “Abuse Me”, “Cemetery” and “The Door”.
“The Door” is the fourth and last single taken from Silverchair's second album Freak Show. The three live songs on Side B were recorded in Chicago's Aragon Ballroom on 20 April 1997. Jeremy Chatelain from the band Handsome provides vocals on “Minor Threat”.
Na het succesvolle album Met Andere Woorden komt Jan Smit terug met gloednieuwe eigen muziek op het album Boven Jan. Op Boven Jan staat o.a. de hitsingle ''Zolang Je Bij Me Bent''. Naast dit album staat Jan begin 2023 weer in de Nederlandse én Vlaamse theaters met de gelijknamige theater tour.
“Freak” is the first single from Silverchair's second album, Freak Show. Freak is available as an 12” EP for the first time and features a cover version of “New Race”, originally by the Australian band Radio Birdman, on the B-side.
