Tygers of Pan Tang are an English heavy metal band who are seen as an essential part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. In 1980, they released their debut studio album Wild Cat, which reached #18 in the UK Album chart. The 10-track set includes the singles “Don't Touch Me There”, “Suzie Smiled”, and “Euthanasia”, and was received with much critical acclaim.

In The Fade (Aus dem Nichts) is a 2017 German drama film written and directed by Fatih Akin. It stars Diane Kruger as Katja Sekerci, a German woman. Katja's life collapses after the deaths of her husband and son in a bomb attack. Director Fatih Akin is a fan of Queens Of The Stone Age and approached Homme to tell him that he had been listening to the band as he wrote the script. Homme, who at the time was mixing the band's last album Villains, was surprised by the proposal but agreed and wound up delighted with the chance to release more experimental music. The soundtrack of In The Fade also includes songs by Faith No More, Courtney Barnett, Queens Of The Stone Age, Lykke Li & Hindi Zahra.
