More Nineties albums, including Exodus' Another Lesson In Violence on yellow & black marbled vinyl, and Das EFX Hold It Down on smokey coloured vinyl. The brand new compilation album 90's Movie Hits Collected is pressed on translucent green (LP1) and yellow (LP2) coloured vinyl.
Ultra Wave by Bootsy Collins features many P-Funk alumni and was also produced by George Clinton. The classic funk album is available on turquoise coloured vinyl.
Also available is Thomas Newman's score for the 2016 sci-fi film Passengers on silver coloured vinyl, which received a nomination for an Academy Award.
Available on vinyl for the very first time, is Cesária Evora's Mãe Carinhosa on blue & red marbled vinyl, which was her final posthumous album.
Lastly, Frank Sinatra Collected is back on black vinyl.
Frank Sinatra was one of the greatest performers and first musical superstar of the last century. His voice, timing and performance created the standards for vocalists ever since. On Frank Sinatra Collected, his career and musical legacy is celebrated on 2 LPs, spanning over 5 decades. Not just his most famous songs, but also some of his best album tracks and collaborations with Count Basie, Quincy Jones and his daughter Nancy, all showcasing the versatile artist he was.
The 1980 album title Ultra Wave is an homage to the Detroit-based studios where Collins collaborated with core Rubber Band contributors Phelps “Catfish” Collins (guitar), Robert “P-Nut” Johnson (vocals), and the dynamic horns of Fred Wesley (trombone) and Maceo Parker (sax). Ultra Wave was produced by George Clinton, in collaboration with Bootsy himself and includes additional vocals by other P-Funk alumni Jeanette Washington and Debbie Wright amongst others.
"Ana's Song (Open Fire)" was releases in May 1999 as the second single from Neon Ballroom, Silverchair's third album. The song is about lead vocalist Daniel Johns' struggle with anorexia nervosa, Ana is the nickname given to it by people affected.
Another Lesson In Violence is Exodus' live album of their reunion tour in 1997. It was recorded at the Trocadero in San Francisco. The album features live recordings of the entire debut album Bonded By Blood (except for "Metal Command").
Passengers is a 2016 blockbuster science fiction adventure film. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy García a.o. The film has been nominated for two Oscars, including Best Original Score and Best Production Design. The score is produced by multiple Grammy and Golden Globe winner Thomas Newman.
"Anthem For The Year 2000" is the first single taken from Silverchair's third album Neon Ballroom. The song reached #3 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, becoming the band's sixth top-ten single. It also reached the top ten in New Zealand, on Canada's RPM Rock Report, and on the UK Rock Chart.
“Miss You Love” is the third and last single taken from Silverchair's third album Neon Ballroom. The song was written when Daniel Johns was suffering from severe depression. In an interview with Kerrang! magazine, Johns said that the song was "about not being able to establish a relationship with anyone, not being able to experience love outside of family".
Hold It Down can be seen as the rebirth of Das EFX. The American hip-hop duo worked together with acclaimed producers DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Easy Mo Bee. The album contains the singles "Microphone Master" and "Real Hip-Hop" and features a guest performance by KRS-One and on "Represent The Real" Das EFX is backed by EPMD-member PMD.
Mãe Carinhosa was the very last album by the Queen of Morna that was released posthumously. It includes 13 unused tracks, covering a period that goes from the recording sessions of the album Cabo Verde in 1997 to those of Rogamar in 2006. Some of the surplus tracks were left incomplete for technical reasons or because Cesária so decided. A year after her passing, this extra material was used to produce an album of 13 previously unreleased tracks.
Neon Ballroom is the third studio album by Australian post-grunge band Silverchair and was released in 1999. On this album the band is considered to have reached their maturity, both literally as musically. Fusing heavy rock with orchestral flourishes and synthetic touches with powerfully emotional lyrics, the dark and haunting Neon Ballroom was universally acclaimed as a huge creative leap for John and his bandmates.
90's Movie Hits Collected is a throwback to the glory days of movies like Batman Forever, Man On The Moon, GoldenEye, Young Guns II, Pretty Woman, Godzilla, The Bodyguard, Trainspotting and many more blockbusters. The 2LP 90's Movie Hits Collected includes classics from U2, R.E.M., Tina Turner, Jon Bon Jovi, Roxette, UB40, Jamiroquai, Whitney Houston. Seal, and Lenny Kravitz amongst others.
