Annihilator is known as one of the highest-selling Canadian thrash metal group in history. Their third studio album Set The World On Fire is available on translucent blue coloured vinyl. More heavy guitars on Point Blank, the only studio album by Nailbomb, which is available on “Blade Bullet” coloured vinyl. The band was a side project by Sepultura's Max Cavalera and producer Alex Newport.
The debut album Zapp (I) by Zapp has a sound that's reminiscent of P-Funk, due to their collaborations with George Clinton and Bootsy Collins. The album is now in stores on purple coloured vinyl.
Three reissues on coloured vinyl by Dutch vocalist Anouk; Paradise And Back Again, Hotel New York and Who's Your Momma. More coloured vinyl from Dutch origin; Trijntje Oosterhuis' Burt Bacharach works The Look Of Love and Who'll Speak For Love are now in stores.
Trijntje Oosterhuis is one of Holland's best female vocalist, performing since 1994 together with her brother and producer Tjeerd. For her 2006 album The Look Of Love (Burt Bacharach Songbook) she teamed up with the Award-winning American pianist and composer Burt Bacharach to perform his jazz standards. Classic songs “Do You Know The Way To San Jose”, “The Look Of Love”, “I Say A Little Prayer” and many more get the “Trijntje” touch. The Dutch Metropole Orkest provides the backing and is conducted by Vince Mendoza.
After the first and successful release of The Look Of Love (Burt Bacharach Songbook) Trijntje follows up with her second interpretation of jazz standards. On Who'll Speak For Love, and teaming up again with Burt Bacharach, she performs 15 classics like “Any Day Now”, “This Girl's In Love”, “What The World Needs Now” and others. The Dutch Metrople Orkest provides the solid backing and is conducted by Vince Mendoza.
The ninth studio album by Dutch vocalist is basically a collection of fantastic songs, with each their own background story. For several years, Anouk has been writing her music with the help of two Swedish songwriters; Tobias Karlsson for the pop oriented songs, and Martin Gjerstad for soul and blues tracks. The album includes the two fan favourite tracks “Wigger” and “Places To Go”. The cover features a painting of Anouk, made by Esther Barend.
Who's Your Momma is the fifth studio album by Dutch pop rock singer Anouk. It was released in 2007, three years after the release of Hotel New York. Who's Your Momma debuted at #1 in the Netherlands, making it her fifth number one album and fourth debut at the top. The album contains the singles “Good God” and “I Don't Wanna Hurt”.
Hotel New York is the fourth studio album recorded by the Dutch pop/rock singer Anouk and released on December 3, 2004 in the Netherlands. The album features 4 singles that all charted well; “Girl”, “Lost”, “Jerusalem” and “One Word”. “Girl” stayed in the charts for over half a year and became one of the most successful singles of a Dutch artist ever.
Canadian heavy metal band Annihilator is known as the highest-selling Canadian thrash metal group in history, having sold more than three million albums worldwide. One of their successes was the third studio album Set The World On Fire. The album features fan favourites like “Knight Jumps Queen”, “Brain Dance” and the title track, which are all setlist regulars to this day.
Zapp (also known as the Zapp Band or Zapp and Roger) is undoubtedly the most influential group in the Electro sub-genre of Funk. Zapp achieved most of its mainstream recognition from the single "More Bounce To The Ounce" from their self-titled debut album, now widely regarded as a classic example of early 1980s electronic Funk.
Nailbomb was a side project by Sepultura's Max Cavalera and producer/engineer Alex Newport in the mid-1990s. Point Blank is their only studio album, originally released in 1994 by Roadrunner Records. The album combines the thrash-metal fury of Sepultura with the robotic industrial clangor of Fudge Tunnel - a big hit in the festival scene at the time.
