Time flies - we're already in April. In a few weeks, it's Record Store Day 2023, but for now, let's present you all our releases that are now in stores:
Climbing! by Mountain, which features the Seventies classic “Mississippi Queen” and is now pressed on flaming coloured vinyl. On to the Eighties with two New Wave of British Heavy Metal-titles: Riot Fire Down Under and Raven Stay Hard. Both were received with much critical acclaim and are now available on coloured vinyl.
This week's modern-day classic is Miles Kane's Don't Forget Who You Are, which he produced together with Ian Broadie and Paul Weller. A 10th anniversary is available on silver & black marbled vinyl. In addition, Roger Waters's 2018 adaption of Igor Stravinsky's 1918 classical theatre work The Soldier's Tale is pressed on crystal clear vinyl.
Also available are several reissues on coloured vinyl, including Harem Scarem Harem Scarem, Warrant Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, Blue Öyster Cult Secret Treaties, and the Original Soundtracks of Black Swan (Clint Mansell) and The Last Of Us (Gustavo Santaolalla).
From Dutch origin are André Hazes Samen, Bakermat The Ringmaster, and the brand new album Any Day Now by Krezip.
Stay Hard is the fourth full-length album by the British heavy metal band Raven, released in 1985. This major label-debut was also the first to establish Raven's more glam metal commercial sound. It features the tracks “On And On” and “Hard Ride”, the latter is a re-recording of the song from their debut album Rock Until You Drop.
Miles Kane, known as co-frontman from The Last Shadow Puppets, is seen as one of the most important mod artists from the 21st century. For this release he got help from the British heroes Ian Broadie (The Lightning Seeds) and Paul Weller (The Jam). Don't Forget Who You Are was a great success and reached the Album Top 10 in the UK and Scotland.

The album features Riot's most recognizable and popular tune “Swords & Tequila” as opening track. Other standouts include the fast-paced title track “Fire Down Under”, "Outlaw," and "Don't Bring Me Down."

The 2018 album Igor Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale is the adaptation by Roger Waters (co-founder of Pink Floyd) on the 1918 same-titled theatrical work. Waters recorded this version with members of the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church.The original theatre work is one “to be read, played, and danced” by three actors (the soldier, the devil, and a narrator) and dancers, accompanied by a septet of instruments.

The Ringmaster is the first studio album by Dutch DJ Bakermat. The Ringmaster also includes the singles “Partystarter", ”Trouble”, “Learn To Lose”, “Baianá”, and “Under The Sun (ft. Kidda)”. The full album features collabs with Alex Clare, Gossip Girl's Emily Lind, BRÅVES, and 7Chariot amongst others.
The American hard rock band Mountain was formed in 1969 by Leslie West, Felix Pappalardi, Steve Knight and Norman Smart. The year after, they released the debut studio album Climbing!, which peaked at #17 on the US Billboard Top Albums chart. It includes the group's best-known song, "Mississippi Queen", which became a hit, and "Never in My Life", which was regularl played on contemporary FM radio.
Secret Treaties is the third studio album by American rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released in 1974. It features the same band members and production team as their previous album Tyranny & Mutation, but also the only BÖC album that does not feature a track with lead vocals sung by guitarist Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser. Lyrics to the lead-off track "Career of Evil" were written by future punk poet Patti Smith, a longtime contributor to the band (and, at the time, girlfriend of BÖC keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Allen Lanier).
The American glam metal band Warrant came into the national spotlight with their double Platinum debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, which peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200. It featured several hit singles, including “Heaven”, which reached #1 in Rolling Stone and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album contained three more singles, “Down Boys”, “Big Talk” and “Sometimes She Cries”.
Harem Scarem is the 1991 self-titled debut album from Canadian rockers Harem Scarem, which included two hit tracks: “Slowly Slipping Away” and “Honestly”. The album features guest appearances by Ray Coburn (Honeymoon Suite), Carl Dixon (Coney Hatch) and Paul MacAusland (Haywire). The opening track “Hard To Love” was co-written by songwriter Christopher Ward, who is best known as the co-writer of worldwide hit “Black Velvet” by Alannah Myles.

Any Day Now is the sixth studio album by Krezip. It's a collection of songs about putting life in a new perspective and experiencing it in a different way. Included on the album are the singles “Make It A Memory” (a duet with Danny Vera) and “Ready For More”.
