“What made it very interesting for me to work on White Lines is that I have experienced all these different music styles, and I was also an upcoming artist in that same time period. Knowing that, and also knowing the island (Ibiza) really well being there so many times and doing gigs there, made it very interesting to work on the show.” Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) on scoring White Lines.
To record Hooverphonic With Orchestra the band went into the studio with a bundle of musicians and created orchestral pieces of all their famous songs. A brand new record is Sevdaliza's Shabrang, which represents to her that the essence of all to her is love. Two Dutch releases are available from the successful band Krezip and the harmonious vocal trio 3JS. The fantastic soundtrack Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) recorded for White Lines is a Café Del Mar type electronic music record, consisting of downtempo lounge and up-tempo club songs. Another great At The Movies title is Legend of 1900 by Ennio Morricone. Besides we have a couple of new coloured vinyl versions of Ringo Starr's Time Takes Time (yellow & green marbled), and Doe Maar's Skunk (transparent yellow) and 4US (orange vinyl).
