Sacco e Vanzetti is a 1971 docudrama film written and directed by Giuliano Montaldo, based on the events surrounding the trial and execution of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, two anarchists of Italian origin, who were sentenced to death for murdering a guard and a paymaster during the April 15, 1920 armed robbery of the Slater and Morrill Shoe Company in Braintree, Massachusetts.
Originally released in 2010, Mirage is the fourth studio album by renowned Dutch trance DJ and producer Armin van Buuren. It contains the popular single 'Not Giving Up On Love', featuring British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Betty Wright (original name Bessie Regina Norris) rose to fame in the 1970s with hits such as "Clean Up Woman", “Lovin' Is Really My Game”, and "Tonight Is the Night". She was an outstanding performer and this Live album provides much evidence of Wright's vitality as a singer.
In a career spanning over 50 years, James Brown became known as a progenitor of funk music and influencing the development of many other genres. All his hit songs, hidden gems, and collaborations are now bundled on Collected. It contains 29 songs, including music from his early days with the Famous Flames, the J.B.'s, and a wide collection of tracks from his solo career.
Director Alexander Payne chose to fill his movie exclusively with music by Hawaii artists — much of it from existing recordings. Most of it created by acknowledged masters of the genre, both modern and classical Gabby Pahinui (known as "Father of Modern Slack Key Guitar"), Ray Kane, Keola Beamer, Lena Machado, and Rev. Dennis Kamakahi, among others.
