This months' first batch of titles will be available from the 10th of October.
CUBY & THE BLIZZARDS - GROETEN UIT GROLLO (1LP) - MOVLP445
Harry Muskee, founder and lead singer, sadly passed away in September 2011. 'Groeten Uit Grollo' is still seen as the seminal album by Cuby & The Blizzards, as The Blizzards are seen as one of the most influential Blues bands in Holland. Muskee has sent us his last greetings, saying in one of his final songs: 'Time is running out, getting older every day. The only thing that's left for us is hit the road and play.'
CAPTAIN BEEFHEART - SAFE AS MILK (2LP) - MOVLP343
Don Van Vliet 's debut album, originally released in 1967 features a 20-year old Ry Cooder on guitar. Cooder's role in the recording process was also "to translate the Captain's wilder notions to the rest of the band and generally act as musical director".
This double LP edition contains 7 bonus tracks.
BOB DYLAN - HARD RAIN (1LP) - MOVLP345
This live album was recorded during the Rolling Thunder Revue Tour in 1976 and was a follow-up of the 1974 'Before The Flood'-album.
Oddly enough, the album is named after one of his most famous songs, 'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall' but that song happens to be missing from the album. The fact that it poured rain for most of the concert may be the reason for the title.
KULA SHAKER - K (1LP + bonus 7") - MOVLP372
A Britpop-meets-60's Psychedelica classic! The album went double platinum and won the 1997 BRIT-Award for Best Breakthrough Act.
Available on vinyl for the first time since its original release in 1996.
Comes with a bonus purple one-sided 7" with their hit-single "Hush" (not featured on the original LP)!
TOTO - HYDRA (1LP) - MOVLP377
'Hydra' is Toto's second studio album, originally released in 1979.
After Toto's debut album, 'Hydra' achieved the Golden-status as well.
Features the single '99' and will be delivered in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with an insert.
ROB MOSTERT - ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS SESSIONS (2LP) - MOVLP441
The Englewood Cliff Sessions came to life in legendary Jazz producer Rudy Van Gelder's studio. Influenced by great artists such as Jimmy Smith, Jimy McCriff, J.S. Bach, and Herbie Hancock and inspired by the studio surroundings, Rob Mostert delivers a howling, moaning, buzzing and swinging Souljazz album.
Including one vinyl-only bonus track.
