This week we're releasing two titles from our brand new Selected Reggae Classics series. Toots and the Maytals' Funky Kingston is a brilliant reggae album and suitable for both beginners as for experienced listeners. The record was released twice and with so much success that it charted in the Billboard 200 and eventually made it to the Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Aswad's 1983 album Live and Direct was recorded at the Notting Hill Carnival. It's an amazing journey accompanied by a powerful horn section, which includes highlights like "Drum and Bass Line", "Soca Rumba", and the fantastic "Rocker's Medley". The Counting Crows album Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did On Our Summer Vacation) is an album filled with their favourite covers of artists as diverse as Teenage Fanclub, Gram Parsons, and Fairport Convention. The vinyl package includes printed inner sleeves with liner notes about the songs and the release is available as a limited pressing of 1000 individually numbered copies on yellow vinyl.

"Sometimes it's great to play someone else's music and try to make it your own. Sometimes it's great just because it's fun." Wise words from Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz, that embody the philosophy behind their 2012 album Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did On Our Summer Vacation).
Hooverphonic's fifth studio album No More Sweet Music is their most controversial album, as it marks their departure from their original, signature sound. The radio-friendly pop songs still consist of elements from their trip-hop music.
