The Swedish rock band The Soundtrack of Our Lives released their third album Behind The Music in 2001. It's the band's breakthrough record and it was nominated for the Best Alternative Album award at the 2003 Grammy Awards.
Before receiving mainstream airplay with the successful singles "Ice Queen" and "Mother Earth" the symphonic metal band Within Temptation released their debut EP Enter. The EP is rooted within the gothic and doom metal, with harsh grunts from Robert Westerholt and Sharon den Adel's beautiful voice.
Three years after her debut Immortal (1996), Beth Hart released Screamin' For My Supper to great critical acclaim. Beth produced the album herself with help from longtime collaborator and bass player Tal Herzberg, resulting in a mature, fully formed record.
Minco Eggersman and Theodoor Borger started collaborating years ago. For this project they're inviting guest musicians to find the pure essence of music with them. They invited Norwegian trumpet player Mathias Eick for their first album UNIFONY.
In the period before their breakthrough with Sex 'n' Jazz, three international albums by Gare du Nord appeared to be cherished by the many fans of the first hour. The debut album (in search of) Excellounge with the European hit Pablo's Blues appeared in the slipstream of St Germain's Tourist and became a classic in the genre.
