In addition, we are releasing Pedals, the second and final studio album by post-harcode legends Rival Schools. A few facts about this release:
Below, you will find a complete overview of all our releases this week.
Trijntje Oosterhuis is one of Holland's best female vocalist, performing since 1994 together with her brother and producer Tjeerd. For her 2006 album The Look Of Love (Burt Bacharach Songbook) she teamed up with the Award-winning American pianist and composer Burt Bacharach to perform his jazz standards. Classic songs “Do You Know The Way To San Jose”, “The Look Of Love”, “I Say A Little Prayer” and many more get the “Trijntje” touch. The Dutch Metropole Orkest provides the backing and is conducted by Vince Mendoza.
On Air is the second solo release by Alan Parsons following the split of The Alan Parsons Project. One of the creative forces was APP long-time guitarist Ian Bairnson. The concept of the album revolves around the history of airborne exploration.
Pedals is the second studio album from post-hardcore band Rival Schools, released 10 years after their debut record United by Fate was first released. Where United by Fate was an album often ready to burst at the seams with energy, Pedals shows a more matured and controlled feel, even somewhat experimental at moments with bass tones and frequent use of acoustic guitars and distortion effects.
Earnest Vocation is the second and final studio album of the Dutch beat group Ro-D-Ys. The band started making music professionally in the late sixties and was well received within the Dutch psychedelic movement. Earnest Vocation was recorded with original singer Harry Rijnbergen.
Dirty Dynamite is the seventeenth studio album from Swiss melodic hard rock/heavy metal band Krokus. The album was well received by critics, partly due to the surprising element of their Beatles cover of “Help”. The band origins from the seventies, and have since sold over 15 million records, toured the world and received gold and platinum discs in the US and Canada.
