Every weekend is a great weekend to visit your local record store. This weekend you can pick up the following new releases:

Modern Talking Alone - The 8th Album is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on blue marbled (LP1) and red marbled (LP2) vinyl.

The expanded version of New Musik's third and final album Warp is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl.

Two Trojan compilation albums, Battle Axe and The Upsetter, featuring early work by Lee Perry, are both available as limited editions of each 750 individually numbered copies on orange coloured vinyl.

Finally, Delain April Rain, Elf Carolina County Ball, Xentrix For Whose Advantage and Clancy Eccles Freedom are available on black vinyl.

NEW MUSIK - WARP =EXPANDED EDITION=

The English synthpop, new wave group formed in 1977 in London and was led by Tony Mansfield, who later worked as a producer for furthermore Naked Eyes, a-ha and the B-52's. In 1982 their third and final album Warp was released. The original album consisted of 12 tracks, this expanded edition of Warp includes five bonus tracks.

Battle Axe is a Trojan compilation album that was originally released in 1972. The album is a set of early productions by Lee Perry. It features many rarities and includes recordings by well-known singers such as Junior Byles, Delroy Wilson and Little Roy amongst others.

VARIOUS ARTISTS - THE UPSETTER

The Upsetter is a rocksteady, reggae compilation that was originally released in 1969 on the Trojan label. The album features early recordings by the iconic producer Lee Perry. Most of the instrumentals are by Perry's studio band The Upsetters, but the recordings also feature vocal tracks by Busty Brown and The Muskyteers.

MODERN TALKING - ALONE =THE 8TH ALBUM=

Alone was Modern Talking's eighth studio album and the follow-up on their comeback album in 1998. Their comeback was well celebrated, because this album topped the charts once again. The album was supported by two singles, “You Are Not Alone” and “Sexy, Sexy Lover”, which charted at #7 and #15 in Germany.
