Bethlehem Records' most famous release is the 1958 debut album by Nina Simone, Little Girl Blue. When Dutch DJ Maestro got the chance to remix this album, he was thrilled. Soon he got the idea to ask some of his favorite producers to collaborate, like Mop Mop, Renegades of Jazz, Gramophonedzie, Fab Samperi, The Reflex, and Mees Dierdorp.
The American band Dog Eat Dog is considered as one of the earliest bands to fuse hardcore punk and rap music. In 1996 they released their second studio album Play Games, which led to touring in many new countries and providing opening acts for Rage Against The Machine, Sepultura, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss and Metallica.
Isao Tomita, also known as Tomita, was a Japanese composer, regarded as one of the pioneers of electronic music and space music, and as one of the most famous producers of analog synthesizer arrangements. Many of his albums are electronic versions and adaptations of famous classical music pieces. In 1974 Tomita released his second studio album, Snowflakes Are Dancing. The album consisted entirely of Tomita's arrangements of Claude Debussy's “tone paintings”, performed on a Moog synthesizer and a Mellotron.
Raving Dahlia is a physical creation, born out of frustration, pressure and unmeasurable expectations of a female artist whom needs to endure a career during her development as a woman. This is a brand new six song EP by the Iranian autodidact singer, songwriter, director and composer Sevdaliza, who resides in The Netherlands. Her audiovisual experiences have gained a certified global force by amassing millions of plays, selling out shows around the world and emerging as a bonafide critical press darling.
Dirty Dynamite is the seventeenth studio album from Swiss melodic hard rock/heavy metal band Krokus. The album was well received by critics, partly due to the surprising element of their Beatles cover of “Help”. The band origins from the seventies, and have since sold over 15 million records, toured the world and received gold and platinum discs in the US and Canada.
The album features “Born Under A Bad Sign”, which was a cover of Albert King and was used as a supporting soundtrack in the Clint Eastwood movie Pink Cadillac (1989). During the same year as the the release of Talk To Your Daughter, the album received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Recording.
After releasing the album 4 in 1981, Foreigner's fans had to wait three years for its follow-up. Luckily, Agent Provocateur turned out to be worth the wait. The album reached #1 on the UK album charts and #5 on the US album charts. It features two of the band's biggest hits: “That Was Yesterday” and “I Want To Know What Love Is”.
