ELVIS PRESLEY - ALOHA FROM HAWAII VIA SATELITE / THE ALTERNATE ALOHA
Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite / The Alternate Aloha is a 4-LP set consisting of the famed 1973 TV broadcast of Elvis' legendary performance on the tropical island.
In keeping with the original 2LP issue, the concert recording is featured on the first two discs. Two additional records contain the dress rehearsals for the show + 5 unreleased bonus tracks. 51 all-time favourites in total, accompanied by new liner notes, never seen before pictures and fully remastered audio.
SANCTUARY - INTO THE MIRROR BLACK
Seattle's Sanctuary recorded Into The Mirror Black at the infamous Sound City Studios in 1989. The band triumphantly ignored suggestions to tweak their Bay-Area Thrash & traditional Heavy Metal sound in favour of the then more commercially-viable Seattle Grunge-sound, choosing instead to firmly hold their ground with this solid record.
Into The Mirror Black now receives the full Music On Vinyl treatment, reissued on high-quality 180-gram vinyl for the first time since its original LP release in 1990.
DOOBIE BROTHERS - TOULOUSE STREET
Their second album, Toulouse Street (1972) was the Platinum Award winning record with which the Doobie Brothers broke through internationally.
The record carries the Classic Rock hits "Listen To The Music" and "Jesus Is Just Alright", the album also offers tracks like "Mamaloi", the beautiful title track ballad and the highly soulful & funky "Cotton Mouth". Released in a gatefold sleeve, just as the original North American and UK issues.
Happy Sad saw Tim Buckley exploring his Jazz roots and combining them with his signature folky sound. Released after the massively successful Goodbye & Hello [MOVLP679], his third album feels like a breath of fresh air. Once you get drawn in Buckley's world, it's simply a mesmerizing experience.
