Again...more high quality titles coming your way

These titles will be available from the 21st of May.
SANTANA - SHAPE SHIFTER (1LP) - MOVLP478
The legendary Carlos Santana returns with his 36th album
'Shape Shifter'. The collection of songs on this brand new LP is a journey from soaring Santana leads and driving beats to the beautifully crafted melodies that have made Santana a household name.
Music On Vinyl is proud that they have been chosen to release this new Santana album and thereby adding another classic to their catalogue after 'Santana' (MOVLP040) and 'Santana III' (MOVLP132).
This release comes with an 8 page booklet.

NINA SIMONE - PASTEL BLUES (1LP) - MOVLP543
On this record are classics such as "Nobody Knows When You're Down And Out", Billie Holiday's signature song "Strange Fruit", as well as a Nina Simone favorite: "Sinnerman". There are few songs that capture the Spirit of religion, redemption, and the fear of God as much as this ten-minute race of a song about a man trying to outrun the Devil.
Nina Simone never, ever disappoints.
Re-released for the first time on vinyl since 1965, we hope we do 'Pastel Blues' justice.

JOE COCKER - SHEFFIELD BLUES (1LP) - MOVLP540
Joe Cocker signed to Island Records in 1981 and they took him to the Bahamas where he recorded his 10th full length album:
'Sheffield Steel'.
It was released a year later. Joe was accompanied by the Compass Point All-Stars, led by legendary session musicians Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare. They supplied the steady tropical groove for most tracks.
The result was a successful album, which put Cocker's name back on the map.

ART BLAKEY - DRUMSUITE (1LP) - MOVLP478
One of the inventors of the modern bebop style of drumming, Blakey is known as a powerful musician and a vital groover; his brand of bluesy, funky hard bop was and continues to be profoundly influential on mainstream jazz.
Recorded in 1956, Art Blakey's 'Drum Suite' is a wonderful hybrid of African, Latin, and hard bop rhythms that prefigures the concept of Afro-beat by at least a decade. The sheer energy, not to mention its very special and fresh-sounding intimacy, make it especially astounding.
Groundbreaking for its time, and still sounding vital, powerful, and visionary, the 'Drum Suite' album is a lost masterpiece that deserves a fresh audience.
