Hopefully, you all enjoyed Record Store Day 2023 and successfully recovered from it, because the following titles are new in stores now:
Starting with the Queen of Soul and her 3LP compilation album The Queen In Waiting - The Columbia Years 1960-1965. It features early recordings from 1960 to 1965, when Aretha Franklin was signed to Columbia Records, and is available as a limited edition on gold and black marbled vinyl. Also new is Drops Of Jupiter by Train, which includes their massive hit song “Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)”. The album is available on red and black marbled vinyl.
From Jupiter back to earth with symphonic metal band Within Temptation and their live album Mother Earth Tour, pressed on red and black marbled vinyl. Also, their next live album The Silent Force Tour, on translucent blue vinyl, is new in stores.
Another band with more than just one title new in stores is Curve. As part of their EP series, Faît Accompli, Faît Accompli (Extended) and Horror Head are available as limited editions on coloured vinyl. The Wild Swans' debut album Bringing Home The Ashes is now available as a limited edition on translucent green vinyl.
The original soundtrack of Spider-Man: Homecoming (Michael Giacchino) is now available on blue vinyl and as an At The Movies shop exclusive on red vinyl. Both versions have an exclusive Spider-Man pop-up gatefold sleeve.
In addition, several reissues on coloured vinyl: Carole King's Simple Things, the 3rd and 4th Modern Talking albums Ready For Romance and In The Middle Of Nowhere, and Michael Kamen's original soundtrack for the HBO Series Band Of Brothers.
Reissued on black vinyl is Funky Divas by En Vogue.
Available on vinyl for the first time, on translucent yellow vinyl, is Dutch classic André Hazes Met Heel Mijn Hart.
