This is the Original Soundtrack to the British-American TV drama series created by Ronald D. Moore, based on the Outlander novel series by Diana Gabaldon. The music is composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary and features vocal performance by Raya Yarbrough (“The Skye Boat Song”) and Griogair Labhruidh (“Je Suis Prest”, “Moch Sa Mhadainn”).

Season 2 follows Jamie and Claire's adventures in France. With the help of his cousin Jared, a local wine merchant, Jamie and Claire are thrown into the lavish world of French society, where intrigue and parties are abundant, but political gain proves far less fruitful. Therefore, the first half of the album presents music from Paris, beginning with the French version of the “Skye Boat Song”.

Outlander Season 2 is available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on smoke coloured vinyl and includes an insert.
