Before ending his life by jumping from the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel in 2001 Herman Brood recorded his album Back on the Corner. Accompanied by a big band he ventures to interpret well-known swing classics. With his characteristic voice he sings the jazzy songs like he never done something else. Classic compositions like "My Funny Valentine" and "I Get a Kick Out of You" got an energetic overlay from the big bang sound. Herman knew how to translate these influential pieces to the era in which he recorded the songs. Even his own big hit "Saturday Night" got the swing treatment it deserves.

The versatile Herman Brood knew from his younger days that he was born to rock the world with his fascinating personality and abilities. With his band The Wild Romance he brought the rock 'n' roll to life and performed with all the energy which he possessed.

The first pressing of 1.000 individually numbered copies is available on transparent vinyl.
