You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet!

October's second batch will be available from 24 October.

GEIKE – FOR THE BEAUTY OF CONFUSION (2LP) – MOVLP422
Geike – the enigmatic former lead singer of the Belgian band Hooverphonic – is branching out on her own and Music On Vinyl is proud to release her debut album on a double 45 RPM 180 grams audiophile pressing in a gatefold sleeve with a special vinyl only acoustic version of the song "107 Windows"!

PETER TOSH – LEGALIZE IT (2LP) – MOVLP342
Thirty-five years have passed since the original release of 'Legalize It' , Tosh's first album as a solo artist after more than a decade in the Wailers with Bob Marley and Bunny Livingston.
Contains fully remastered audio, 6 dub versions plus two detailed inserts.

PETER TOSH – EQUAL RIGHTS (2LP) – MOVLP341
A number of songs on this album became human rights anthems over the next two decades: "Get Up, Stand Up," "Downpressor Man", "African", "Apartheid", and the title tune.
Just like 'Legalize It', this album has received an amazing Music On Vinyl-treatment, which means: total remastering, 9 bonus dub tracks and two inserts.

BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE - NOT FRAGILE (1LP) – MOVLP402
'Not Fragile' shows BTO at their best, both in terms of songwriting and playing.
Raucous guitar duels, counter-solos, prominent but not over-heavy drumming; they all contribute to the appeal of this number 1 album.
This album comes in a gatefold sleeve and includes the stammeringly marvellous smash hit: "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet".

JOHNNY CASH – AT FOLSOM PRISON (2LP) – MOVLP274
The ideal blend of mythmaking and gritty reality, 'At Folsom Prison' is the moment when Cash turned into the towering Man In Black, a haunted troubadour singing songs of crime, a conflicted conscience, and jail.
This release is remastered and includes a 16-page booklet.

JOHN COLTRANE – LIVE AT BIRDLAND (1LP) – MOVLP446
John Coltrane is considered one of the most important and controversial jazz musicians of all time.
'Live At Birdland' is undisputedly John Coltrane's most delicate all-round album with fantastic versions of "Afro-Blue" and "I Want To Talk About You" which makes this a classic that should not be overlooked!

THE CURE – SEVENTEEN SECONDS (1LP) – MOVLP394
The beginning of a trilogy of sorts, the questioning and sparse album 'Seventeen Seconds' was recorded on a minimal budget which meant a lot of hard work, long days and short nights.
This is what the finding of Robert Smith's independence sounds like! Includes the hitsingle "A Forest".

GOV'T MULE – THE DEEP END VOL. 2 (2LP) – MOVLP353
After the passing of Allen Woody, Haynes and Abts teamed up with some of the most renowned bass players in the biz for 'The Deep End Vol. 2' which again resulted in a double LP with genres varying from funk to heavy metal and psychedelic rock to punky weirdness.
With contributions from Phil Lesh, Les Claypool, Jason Newsted and Billy Cox and a full colour insert.

KULA SHAKER – PEASANT, PIGS & ASTRONAUTS (1LP) – MOVLP373
Like its predecessor 'K' (MOVLP372), this album continues the band's hybrid of 1960s-style psychedelic rock, groovy indie pop, and Indian instrumentation, albeit with a more progressive rock slant than on their previous release.
This releases comes with silver embossed lettering on the front cover.

ALAN PARSONS PROJECT – EVE (1LP) – MOVLP189
Some highlights of this album about the battle of the sexes are the gorgeous "You Won't Be There" about man's insecurity, the loutish "You Lie Down With Dogs" and the furious "Lucifer".
This is truly one of the bands finest marriages of both concept and music.

ELVIS PRESLEY – LOVING YOU (1LP) – MOVLP348
A soundtrack that includes songs that don't appear in the film, this collection of hits ("Teddy Bear"), covers ("Blueberry Hill", "Mean Woman Blues"), and lesser-known treasures ("Party", "I Need You So") topped the charts for 10 weeks running in 1957.

WEATHER REPORT – BLACK MARKET (1LP) – MOVLP418
When Jaco Pastorius joined Zawinul, Shorter and Moreira in 1976, Weather Report entered their most popular phase, which included the release of 'Black Market'.
This sixth album is influenced greatly by African music, and combined with jazz we could describe this genre as "world fusion".
Contains a full colour insert.
