The Second Wave of March releases is coming!

Yes, the end of this month is getting closer and closer, time to present 5 new additions to the Music On Vinyl catalogue.

Our previous Miles Davis releases made the vinyl-lovin' crowd ask for more, so our upcoming release from his vast repertoire is aptly titled 'We Want Miles'(MOVLP207). While it was technically not a come-back album (Miles had never been away), it was his return to the frontline, carrying the new wave of up & coming jazz greats along with him: a young Marcus Miller, Bill Evans and Mike Stern.

In 2006 Peter, Bjorn & John charged into the public ear with their whistle-while-you-work pop hit "Young Folks". Inspired by '60s Baroque Pop, Power Pop and New Wave this Swedish trio have created some of the most exciting Indie Rock of the decade. On 'Gimme Some'(MOVLP273) they have returned to their Swedish Pop roots and created an album that is the perfect musical companion for this upcoming Spring!

Another release vinyl-fans have been craving for: Propaganda's 'A Secret Wish' (MOVLP187), originally released on Trevor Horn's ZTT label. We have respectfully given the album the Music On Vinyl treatment while adding an 8-page booklet to the gatefold package. Several songs from the debut by these German Synth-pop 80's mega-stars became huge hits and "p:Machinery" was used in the quintessential 80's TV show MIAMI VICE!

Two very different, but equally gifted women in music close the list of March releases.

First up is Patti Smith, whose '78 classic 'Easter' (MOVLP238) is brought to you in its original form, 70's fashion extraordinaire!.'Easter'was produced by Bruce Springsteen associate Jimmy Iovine and was Smith's most commercial-sounding effort yet and, due to the inclusion of Springsteen's "Because the Night" (with Smith's revised lyrics).

Hot on the heels of our recent Nina Simone and Piano! (MOVLP236) release, we present Nina's second LP for RCA 'Silk & Soul'(MOVLP249), originally recorded in 1967.

The albumcontains the Civil-Rights-anthem-to-be 'I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free' and shows us just one more side of the versatile Mrs. Simone.

From pop, jazz & soul to raging guitars & synth-pop, March has it all!
