The second wave of Music on Vinyl's newly re-mastered, all-analog Jimi Hendrix releases culminates in the long awaited release of West Coast Seattle Boy: The Jimi Hendrix Anthology.This definitive career-spanning 8-LP Set tracks Hendrix's remarkable journey from R&B sideman to international guitar hero. The deluxe set is filled with previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix Experience recordings plus demos, alternate takes, and more.
West Coast Seattle Boy - The Jimi Hendrix Anthology is not a collection of existing Hendrix albums but instead 45 unreleased Hendrix live and studio recordings including demos and alternate versions of classic Hendrix tracks.
West Coast Seattle Boy includes Hendrix's never before heard version of Bob Dylan's 'Tears Of Rage," solo acoustic recordings of Electric Ladyland favorites like "Long Hot Summer Night" and "1983 (A Merman I Shall Turn To Be)" as well as never before heard live performances from Berkeley and the legendary Band Of Gypsys Fillmore East concert on New Year's Eve 1969 combined together with such new Hendrix songs as "Hear My Freedom," "Hound Dog Blues," "Lonely Avenue" and more.

We will not go into legal details, but we can assure you that all our Jimi Hendrix releases are approved by the Jimi Hendrix Estate.
I myself would like to bring out an album of local artists and perhaps from a more known artist and because you people do it in such a succesfull manner i was just wondering how that goes, not because i am worried you do something illegal. I really appreciate the great quality of Music on Vinyl.
whats the difference between the 8LP set from music on vinyl and the 8 LP set from legacy? except the difference in price??

1/ I am wondering i have ordered the ltd box West Coast Seattle Boy from MOV and i have still not got it the shop wasn't the box come out in november? Is the box allready out ?
2/ The special Hendrix 10's ltd 1000 copies is this also allready out because the guy in my shop says its allready sold out ??

This is a very sad situation indeed! Nobody seems to know what's going on.In my case,as I said previously, I got the Legacy version and had intended to bring it back to the shop to exchange it for the all analogue MOV version; However I was warned by the assistant that there was no sign of the MOV version on the horizon despite the fact that it was supposed to have come out three weeks ago!??!So I had no option but to hang on to my own version. I'm just happy I actually have the box and my advice to Luc is to get the Legacy version quick before it disappears too... BTW the Legacy version is fine in it's own way, with excellent sound (not as brilliant as the previous box set) and a big thick sturdy box offering ample protection for the precious vinyl enclosed. BTW the 12" book enclosed gets some of the songs in the wrong order but that's another topic for another day.... So MOV what is going on?????
