Music On Vinyl Releases in June

We're in the midst of the World Cup tournament and we must admit that there isn't a better combination than Football and Music. Our new batch of releases will help you get in the victory-mood for sure.

Music On Vinyl is proud to welcome Trevor Horns groundbreaking label ZTT as the newest member to our label-roster.
We decided to start with a Bang! and release Frankie Goes To Hollywoods classic "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" album on high quality 180 gram vinyl.

2 albums that were high on the wishlist of many MOV-fans, will hit the stores this month; The groundbreaking grunge album "Sweet Oblivion" by The Screaming Trees and Sade's fabulous "Love Deluxe" album.

The first "Floating World" release on Music On Vinyl is one by Jack Bruce and Robin Trower. These living legends bring us a strong blues-rock album called "Seven Moons". We created a very special gatefold sleeve + insert.

Fans of true 60s and 70s pop/rock will be delighted when they get to chance to listen to our pressings of Mott The Hoople, Chicken Shack and Jeff Beck.

After receiving many compliments for our pressings of "Songs of Love & Hate", "Ten New Songs"and his latest album "Live At The Isle of Wight", we bring you Leonard Cohen's "Greatest Hits" album.

For those of you who got the chance to visit The Hague Jazz festival, one name stood out; "Sven Hammond Soul". We are proud to bring you his new album "Marmalade sessions". Especially for all his fans and believers of the black gold, Sven produced 4 bonus tracks for us.

More classic Dutch albums this month are albums by The Nits, Shocking Blue and Focus.

The split album "Speakerboxxx / The Love Below" by Outkast is a must have for all Hiphop/Urban fans and never sounded better.

We didn't forget about all our dance-fans; 14 years after its original release, Fatboy Slim's "Better Living Through Chemistry" album still sounds as fresh as a sunset in Ibiza.

Very nice new releases. I'm a real Nits fan! Cool the Urk album in 3 box lp. Is it possible to realease the DaDaDa album on vinyl? Or maybe the Giant Normal Dwarf of the Nits? Roger Waters - What god wants was in the 90's also released on the vinyl (CBS). It would be great to release it again.

Indeed, nice releases, but despite of the albums from Jeff Buckley, Kings Of Leon and Turin Brakes some classics are missing painfully:

Brood and the Nits is okay. But when we are talking about "nederpop" than how about Sweet'd Buster? Their music digitally remastered on audiophile vinyl...yummy!

Got my Sade and F.G.T.H. yesterday. Pleasuredome has never sounded better. It's even better than the newly remastered 2cd version. But the sleeve is another thing. Was it impossible to get better pictures for the front and back? The pictures are very pixelated. ZTT should be able to supply you with more than cd-sized pictures.

We're glad to hear you appreciate the HQ sound of our new releases, but we're a bit surprised about the artwork comment. We were provided with the best possible digital artwork files by ZTT.
Rest assured, these weren't CD sized pictures. We guess it's a matter of taste, but we'd hate to leave an impression of neglecting the artwork part of the job.
However, we do take your feedback at heart and will take this into account.

Very cool to see this Screaming Trees release.
Maybe you can get Sony to give up the masters for the OST of "Singles" the movie? That would be brill.

ANother vote for anything Brad released on the Sony label, especially "Shame" and "Interiors" both of which are very hard to find on vinyl.

Hi just wondering is there any plans to bring out any pearl jam on vinyl? It is getting harder and harder to come by and really expensive really would love to see riot act get a re release with big picture book and full colored sleaves and also yeild, self titled, lost dogs, no code any and all of these would be great. Please consider it hopefully something for july or August.

Pearl Jam already have their vinyl plans mapped out, doing super-duper versions of all the albums over the course of the next few years to celebrate the band's 20th anniversay.

Look for vs. to come next with similar features as the recent re-issue of Ten. Hopefully this time they'll include a Blu-ray 5.1 though.
