Music On Vinyl Mid-February Releases

Like we promised, as of now we will release a fresh batch of MOV-titles every 2 weeks.

In this release-batch (which will hit the streets on the 14th of February) we present 5 new gems; Japan, Freur, Manic Street Preachers, Captain Beefheart and Gov't Mule.

First off, our third release of the Manic Street Preachers entitled "This is my truth Tell Me Yours" has been pressed on high quality 180 gram vinyl. It is their fifth album and includes their classic hit "If You Tolerate This, Your Children Will Be Next".

Second is a cult album (and personal favorite of 1 of the Music on vinyl guys), Freur with their first album "Doot-Doot". Members Karl Hyde and Rick Smith later formed one of the biggest house acts ever. You might have heard of them, they are none other than Underworld!
This record has stood the test of time perfectly, although we can't say this about their hairdo's...

It took us a couple of months, but finally the self-titled album of Gov't Mule has hit the stores. This is heavy blues-rock at its best and well worth the waiting!

The third of our "Japan classic series" is also included in this batch. Our special MOV version of "Quiet life" is a smashing 3LP (!) set and contains no less than 15 bonustracks! Like our previous Japan releases ("Adolescent Sex" /MOVLP174 & "Obscure Alternatives" /MOVLP175) the first 1000 copies are numbered and pressed on red vinyl.

To conclude this batch we have a release by Don van Vliet aka Captain Beefheart. Sadly mister Don van Vliet passed away last December. We commemorate him with our release of the "The Mirror Man Sessions" 2LP, the so-called lost sessions of his earliest recordings.

We hope you enjoy listening to these classic albums!
