ROY ORBISON – THE MONUMENT SINGLES COLLECTION (2LP) – MOVLP350
Music On Vinyl is proud to release 'The Monument Singles Collection'. This is a collection of the A and B-sides of Roy Orbison's most important singles, with amongst others original mono mixes of "Only The Lonely", "Crying", and of course "Pretty Woman". This release comes in a gatefold sleeve with inner sleeves printed with a bronze metallic layer.
THE ONLY ONES – BABY'S GOT A GUN (1LP) – MOVLP333
Produced by Colin Thurston (famous for his work with Duran Duran, The Human League and Bow Wow Wow), this album is more pop-oriented than its two predecessors but still has their well known sleazy rock & roll and guitar sound. First vinyl edition since its original release in 1980!
RETURN TO FOREVER – ROMANTIC WARRIOR (1LP) – MOVLP436
Return to Forever – often cited as one of the core groups of the jazz-fusion movement of the 1970s – consisted of Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White and Al DiMeola. 'Romantic Warrior' is more avant-garde and less funky than the band's previous albums, but it would go on to become the best selling of all Return to Forever's efforts, eventually reaching gold disc status. This album comes with an insert and is now released on vinyl for the first time since 1976!
PATTI SMITH – RADIO ETHIOPIA (1LP) – MOVLP380
This record turned out to be one of Patti Smith's most experimental pieces of music she produced during her ingenious career. This album takes the complexity and experimentation of the vocal poetry of 'Horses' and instils it into the sound. This release includes a 4-page insert written by Ms. Smith herself.
