Two Blue Note albums, three alternative rock releases and to top things off, we add Billy Joel's seminal Piano Man to the catalogue.
These releases will hit the stores July, 2nd.
BLUE NOTE TRIP – LATE NIGHTS & EARLY MORNINGS [MOVLP580 & MOVLP581]
Blue Note and Music On Vinyl team up once again! We co-operated to release the tenth installment of Blue Note Trip on vinyl (Blue Note Trip Vol 10 – Late Nights MOVLP580 and Blue Note Trip Vol 10 – Early Mornings MOVLP581).
Both compilations contain the original tracks, released just in time for a jazz-fuelled summer!
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE - LIVE AT THE GRAND OLYMPIC AUDITORIUM [MOVLP551]
Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium contains material of Rage Against The Machine's last two shows recorded in September 2000.
Hits such as "Killing In The Name", "Bulls On Parade", and "Bullet In The Head" are even more intense than on the studio albums and the two covers (MC5's "Kick Out The Jams" and EPMD's "I'm Housin'") complete this true collector's item that's fetching high prices on Ebay, Discogs etc. A must-have for all record collectors and RATM-fans alike!
PRIMUS – THE BROWN ALBUM [MOVLP546]
Primus started recording their sixth album The Brown Album [MOVLP546] in 1997. On this album Les Claypool moves Primus further into the jazz-rock and progressive territory.
There are no full-fledged songs on the album, the attraction of their music lies in the thunderous bass riffs, the syncopated drums and avantgardistic guitarplay.
BIOHAZARD - NEW WORLD DISORDER [MOVLP539]
New World Disorder [MOVLP539] is Biohazard's sixth album released in 1999. On this album the band polished their metal/hardcore rap fusion into a seamless singular sound. The album features guest appearances from Sticky Fingaz and Igor Cavalera (Sepultura).
BILLY JOEL – PIANO MAN [MOVLP521]
Billy Joel's first hit "Piano Man" from 1973 is about the fate of the lonely losers at a late night bar serenading a piano player.
The eponymous album from 1973 showcases Joel's talent as a songwriter. It features fan favourites "The Ballad Of Billy The Kid" and "Worst Comes To Worst".
