Rose Royce II: In Full Bloom is the second album released by the Funk band Rose Royce in July 1977. Produced by Norman Whitfield, the album topped the R&B albums chart. It also reached #9 on the Billboard 200. The album yielded two Billboard R&B Top Ten singles, "Do Your Dance (Part 1)" and "Ooh Boy". Packed with tight funk jams and horn-heavy construction, tempered only occasionally by Dickey's sweet ballads, In Full Bloom is a Disco-Funk masterpiece.

A third single, "Wishing on a Star", was not as successful in the US, but was a huge hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at #3. Another single, "It Makes You Feel Like Dancin'", was released in the UK and peaked at #16.

As strong as any of the songs featured on 1976's Car Wash soundtrack, In Full Bloom allowed them to fully shine in their own right and on their own terms. Although their early incarnation as Total Concept Unlimited had paired them with Motown labelmates the Temptations and given them clout in the label stable, it was the addition of powerhouse vocalist Gwen Dickey and continued pairing with ├╝ber-producer Norman Whitfield that brought the band into their own.

Packed with tight funk jams and horn-heavy construction, tempered only occasionally by Dickey's sweet ballads, In Full Bloom is a Disco-Funk masterpiece, courtesy of both the band's own confidence and Whitfield's artful magic.
