The use of inventive guitar techniques and great sound quality made this album stand out.  It sits stylistically somewhere between New Wave and Hard Rock, resulting in a highly interesting and timeless listen.  Hughes continued to collaborate with a myriad of artists like Tony Iommi and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Thrall continued to work in producing artist such as Peter Gabriel, Tina Turner, Joe Satriani and Dream Theater.
